Yes, if Sea Monster does not have First Strike, it does not attack this turn. Combat Lock and Retaliate are active immediately though.

If, during a solo trial Gadir throws the spear and summons the sea monster… One side of the sea monster has First Strike. The other does not. Does this mean that First Strike side will attack that same round but the other side will not do
