Sometimes, a unit's skills change in the middle of its turn. One example in Remastered is that a unit loses its skills while occupying an inner deployment hex. These changes take place immediately.


Some examples and how they are resolved:


  • A unit with Tactical moves onto an inner deployment hex on the turn it was deployed. It must now stop moving, because when Tactical goes away, it loses its ability to move on the turn it was deployed.
  • A unit with Roaming moves onto an inner deployment hex. Since it no longer has Roaming, it follows the relevant priority list in determining what direction to keep moving in. As soon as it's no longer on an inner deployment hex, Roaming is reinstated and it rolls for its movement going forward.
