If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
If a product is received and contains defective components, we are more than happy to replace any components, within reason, at no cost to you. Please fill out a support ticket HERE, and select "Component Replacement" in the "How can we help you?" section. We do ask that you attach pictures with your request, as it provides us with a way of documenting any manufacturing defects.
For items damaged by shipping carrier or mishandling, such as game boxes, CTG reserves the right to offer store credit in lieu of a replacement box, depending on the damage to the box, the customer’s location, and shipping charges.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned unopened and unused. Shipping fees for the return of an item are non-refundable. If you would like the address for a return, please contact us to by submitting a ticket HERE.
We recommend using a tracked method of shipping to return the product, as we will not be able to process a refund without receiving the item.
PLEASE NOTE: Items MUST be returned in salable condition to be eligible for a full refund. Items that are received in unsellable condition will only receive a partial refund or store credit.
At this time, we do not have an international location to which returned items can be shipped. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Once we have received your item, we will restock the undamaged item free of charge. Once your return is approved, we will initiate a refund based on the method that was used for purchase, sans shipping fees. Refunds can take up to 10 business days to reflect on your card, depending on your bank’s processing times.
Please note: When items are purchased on sale or discount, such as a convention bundle, CTG reserves the right to refund the sale or discount price only.
Chip Theory Games orders are forwarded to our fulfillment partners on Monday and Thursday mornings, and are generally processed and scheduled for shipment within 24-48 hours of their receipt, unless otherwise stated in the item information or the website. We are more than happy to cancel an order and process a refund within that time, but once the order has been marked as shipped, any refund request would be subject to the above Return policy.
If an item is purchased within fourteen(14) days of an item sale or bundled pricing being made available, CTG will refund the price difference to the customer on request. Please note that this refers to item sales only, shipping promotions do not apply.
If a refund is unable to be processed through your card, either due to the age of the transaction or a change in card information, the only alternate refund method currently available is through a PayPal funds transfer. If you do not have a PayPal account or do not use to wish the service, we can provide you with a coupon for store credit in the amount of your order.
Please note: Refunds will be processed in USD, based upon the original amount paid for the order in USD.
Kickstarter & Pledge Manager Refunds
There will be a 4% cancellation fee applied to all Kickstarter refund requests made after the campaign has closed, to cover processing fees.
If a refund/cancellation request is made after the pledge manager phase of the campaign has closed, an additional 4% fee will be added to cover the pledge manager processing fees, for a total of 8%.
Unfortunately, we are unable to recover these fees on your behalf.
