If the Champion is eliminated and there are AI chips left, does the AI gladiator closest to the Tribute pick it up and carry on?
No.
They still just try to take out your champion as per the movement rules for El Dorado units.

OCEANUS: Two Green dice say to summon a CF Gladiator if available, or 2 regular gladiators if no CF gladiator available. I have lots of CF Gladiators now. Was the intention that he could summon just one CF Gladiator? Or some limited number?

When attacks are made either by a single bad guy next to two gladiators or a single gladiator next to two bad guys is the damage dealt to just one chosen opponent or to both?
